Moorland Voices - March 2024 update

Moorland Voices were joined at  St. Giles the Abbot - Cheadle by over 120 guests on the 19th March for an evening moonlight & stardust, click on the Reviews tab for a concert review.

The concert marked the end of an era as we bid a fond, but sad, farewell to Lynn & John Norcliffe.

Lynn and John have been our two principal musical directors since the inception of Moorland voices over 10 years ago and we wish them all the very best for the future.

Due to the retirement of John & Lynn,  we are looking for a replacement, ideally following our ethos of shared responsibility and cooperation.  If you are interested in the role please click here for details.

Moorland voices are also  recruiting for an additional two tenors and two basses. The ability to read music, whilst helpful, is not essential.  If you are interested in joining us please click here.

Moorland Voices  is based in the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands.  As a small chamber choir of about 24 voices we take an unusual “collaborative” approach in that we have no single musical director, instead drawing on the skills of choir members.  We have performed a wide and varied repertoire both in the UK and abroad to considerable acclaim.

Why not browse around while you're here and take a look at what we do both on and off the stage!
